I am usually a fan of historical novels, so I was interested to read the description and First Look for this book. The cover of the book is simple but beautiful and gets the point of the story across. The description did a wonderful job in making me want to read the first look. This book (from what I can tell in the beginning) is well written. I can close my eyes and picture myself with the family, rowing on the boat or eating lobster and chocolate cake in the restaurant. The First Look has me hooked and I am exciting to read the rest of this book!
