I was very impressed with this book after reading the preview of it. This book centers around parents who send their young daughter, Beatrix, to America in order to protect her from the war that is threatening their home of London, England in 1940. This is a historical fiction novel that unfolds over a number of years and is centered around the events of World War II. I am really looking forward to reading this one as the author’s writing is so lovely and the story has really captivated my interest. The cover of this book is also very beautiful as well!
