I felt immediately connected to the young woman Beatrix, whose fate seems to be tumbling around from the moment the book begins.
The cover and title are appealing. The setting and circumstances of the book is one that I haven’t read about before and I’m looking forward to learning more while also having the chance to meet these characters more fully.
