I was immediately immersed in Beatrix's story. I found myself on the edge of my seat while seeing Beatrix's mother go back and forth on sending her away. My heart broke with her when she hit that moment, knowing she was making the right choice right choice to keep her safe. This will be a gut punching, character driven story that any historical fiction fan will love!
