'Being Henry', Henry Winkler's autobiography, was a quick read for me. While I am not a die-hard Happy Days fan, I was interested to learn who Henry really was. I was really surprised by Henry's story. I would have never guessed how he struggled with his sense of self and with his identity post-Fonz. Henry's journey toward recognizing that he was dyslexic and learning to compensate for this while studying scripts and reading lines was interesting. I was not aware that Henry also wrote children's books and I think it is great that he uses his influence and image to encourage children with learning disabilities. Henry kept me interested in his story and chuckling at his anecdotes. I was left feeling that Henry really is a wholesome family man who deserves to be an American idol. Thanks to BookishFirst and Celadon Books for getting an ARC in my hands.
