This book was really lovely. Henry Winkler always seems like such a wonderful person, and reading this feels like sitting across from him while he tells you the story of his life and career.

It's written very "stream of consciousness" with his storytelling going off in tangents and coming back to the through line of the piece. I also loved how periodically, his wife would chime in with additional details or the story from a different angle. It feels very conversational.

The stories are a wonderful look at the film industry. Good and bad, but from the perspective of someone who is really grateful for the journey. There are pieces of his career that I knew nothing about and he tells little anecdotes of several other industry people, some you will have heard of, some you won't have. It was a very enjoyable read, and I was thrilled to be given this advanced copy.
