As a child of the 70's I grew up watching Happy Days and still consider it one of the greatest TV shows of all time. I knew Henry Winkler had dyslexia, but I learned so much more about him and his struggles. Who would have thought the actor who brought so much confidence to the Fonz was actually extremely self conscious in real life? This book takes you through the decades as he grew and excelled as an actor, winning Emmys. It also gives you a look at the true Henry: a man who had intimacy issues and lack of self esteem, and how he overcame it all with therapy and the love of his wife Stacey. His own handicap led him to work with mentally and physically handicapped children, and those stories are the absolute best! After reading this, I now feel if I ever have an opportunity to meet him, I might be able to talk to him as a human being and not be star-struck stupid as we tend to be with celebrities. He seems like a down to earth person and this book makes me love him even more! Aaaaayyyyyyy!
