I grew up watching Happy Days and of course, loved the Fonz. I also loved all of the characters and loved Tuesday evenings with Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley. Admittedly, I did not see much of Mr. Winkler after that.
I did see him on tv shows when I was an adult and he always made me laugh. Mr. Winkler is nostaglia to me and always will be. I was excited to read his book.
I laughed thorought his memoir. I don't want to give anything away but I will say my favorite part involved a dog named Ringo. I could so easily see that as I read it.
I did not know about his childhood and found it hard to read at times. It only amazes me more when I read online that many consider him to be the kindest person in Hollywood.
I am passing this book to a friend who is a fan of Mr. Winkler's and that's incredible to me. My friend will not read ANYTHING but she desperately wants my copy of Being Henry!
