Good storytelling
The Fonz was before my time, though I'm familiar with the show because of my mom, and I've seen and enjoyed some of the movies he was in when I was a kid, so I was interested in reading this. He's a very good storyteller, able to paint the picture so that the reader feels like they were experiencing that time and place along with him. He takes readers into poignant moments throughout his life and career, the struggles to find himself and to be known beyond one role. He reveals things I never knew and delves into his personal philosophies and inner thought process. It's much more introspective than I was expecting. Not the most linear outline, but I suspect it's actually quite like that inside his head. It's entertaining and enlightening, sometimes humorous, sometimes serious. I think it'll be an interesting read for fans, who will gain new appreciation for the actor.
