Henry's book takes you back in time, a get to know Henry. The first chapter brings you to his audition for Happy Days. He describes it as if it happened yesterday. In the first chapter you will also get intimate with his retelling of the ladies he was with before fame. Not in too much detail which i appreciate.

My heart breaks for Henry as he let you in on how he was treated by his parents. All Henry wanted was a caring parent, one that was proud of him. His parents even gave him a nick name dummer hund which means dumb dog. Henry had a rough time due to dyslexia which caused him not being able to read and do normal things such as counting money to pay for things. During that time it was harder to get help for learning disabilities. Which made everything harder on the person that is going through it. Henry found himself in some trouble because of it. From grounding and trouble from teachers.

Henry had such dreams to become an actor he did a few things and saved money. Once he had the 1000 dollars he made his way to LA. He was able to stretch his money with living with a few friends and getting some small parts. Henry timed everything right everything was in place. He managed to make enough to not have to go back home. He went on to audition for Happy days. He obviously got the part. He goes on to tell about his first impressions of the cast and how Ron Howard changed how he reacted to the script.

Henry goes on to say how after Happy Days was airing how his life changed. People yelling Hey its the Fonz and wanting pictures and autographs. He enjoyed the attention. He then realized that women were giving him the time of day. Which made him wonder if it was only because of the Fonz not actually him. I love that he is really aware of all the possibilities and not get sucked into the fame that made him crazy.

With that you will have to grab the book to find out the rest. This book is really well written. It really grabs you and you will want to read it all in one sitting. Thank you to Bookishfirst and Celadon books for my early release copy of Being Henry i truly enjoyed this book!
