Genuinely open and telling, heartwarming and spacious. Winkler draws you in with the backdrop of his parents, childhood, and education. Even with dyslexia Winkler earned his BA and defined success one episode at a time. From a traumatic beginning with his parents coming to America to his first audition for Happy Days. In the 1970's I may have been in the single digits, but I still knew who the guy was when he came on the screen sporting a leather jacket, thumbs up and a killer smile. Winkler's parents may have considered him a "dumb dog," but his dads resounding advice," it's not what you say but how you say it," brought the infamous "ayyy" to a winning level. Winkler draws you into his life and times and you feel like you are right there with him experiencing it yourself. Definelty thumbs up to this reflective masterpiece as Winkler shines.
