"Being Henry -- The Fonz and Beyond" is a wonderful look into the life of the actor who portrayed one of the most beloved TV characters of the 1970s-80s. No one who watched "Happy Days" could have ever guessed at the struggles of the actor who played the coolest guy on TV.

Henry Winkler's dyslexia was and continues to be a monumental obstacle that he has had to work around his entire life. The stories he tells about his parent's attitude toward his learning disability are truly horrifying and it's a tribute to Henry that he learned to read and memorize so much.

I enjoyed reading about the shows and plays Henry tried out for in the years after "Happy Days". His writing is descriptive, making the reader sad at times and laugh at other times. I most appreciated that he included all of it in his memoir. I also found the excerpts from his wife Stacey added interest to the book.

This book is a great choice for those who grew up with the "Happy Days" gang.
