Looking back on my life I feel I have grown up with Henry Winkler and could not wait to read his book. The cover with his picture is beautiful because I believe he truly has not aged. He glows and has a beautiful soul. He struggled with dyslexic and still managed to achieve a higher education at the top schools that include Yale. But this was not his only struggle growing up, he is a product of German Jews and was told he was not good enough. This man came into our hearts as the Fonz and entertained us week after week; yet instead of taking everything for granted he gives gratitude for the life he has had, his wife, and all who supported him in his journey to discover and become the man he is today. Living in Milwaukee we have a statue of Henry Winkler as the Fonz here in downtown and I am luck to have not only seen that but having run into Henry Winkler at our airport! He is a kind person and this memoir reflects all he has experienced.
