I absolutely love Henry Winkler! I’m too young to enjoy his acting in Happy Days or The Mary Tyler Moore show; but it was incredibly enlightening to watch YouTube episodes of these shows at exactly the moments he talked about in the book and witness just how great of an actor he is.
One of my favorite things I did with my dad most mornings was watch The Andy Griffith Show because it was a feel good comedy about life lessons. I grew up loving Opie, but never delved into his life until reading this book. I never knew about all his great accomplishments alongside Henry Winkler until I started researching Henry’s life.
Henry’s book was compassionate, enlightening, funny, and powerful. Once I started reading, it was hard to stop. I loved reading about all the actors and actresses he met throughout his life, even before they were famous.
I like when my city is mentioned in books. I really need to know which restaurant Henry Winkler and Christopher Walken went to when they visited Bakersfield years ago. 😊
