Since it is a memoir, “Being Henry” is a rather difficult book to review. Having never seen an episode of “Happy Days,” a lot of this novel simply didn’t resonate with me. There was an awful lot of behind-the-scenes happenings from the show, so I would definitely recommend this memoir for the older generation that grew up watching “Happy Days.”

That being said, I still thoroughly enjoyed this memoir! I particularly enjoyed the sections told from Stacey’s point of view, especially chapter four where Henry and Stacey’s alternating perspectives were abundant. I do wish the chapters overall were a bit shorter to increase readability. Nonetheless, it was interesting to learn about the various projects Henry Winkler worked on and the different individuals he worked with over the years.

Overall, this was a captivating read that left me with a deep-seated desire to view some of Henry Winkler’s past television work!
