First let me start by saying that I loved The Outsiders. When I saw this book was a take on the same story but with a feminine twist, I was all in. I wasn't sure that the author could do better than the original but man I was do wrong. I loved this book and the twists and turns that it took on. I wasn't sure how the author was going with the story but was surprised at every turn. I was bewildered by how much i enjoyed the book including every single character. As I was reading the book, I found myself comparing each character to the ones in the movie. I did find that I liked the girls in this book even more. The author made them vulnerable even though they acted so tough. The writing was outstanding and the premise of the story was even better. If you enjoyed the Outsiders, you will also enjoy this book. I promise if you give it a go, you will be very pleased.
