*Thank you to Bookish First, St. Martin's Press and the author for a copy of "Bad Girls Never Say Die" in exchange for an honest review.*

This is my first book I've read from this author, and while I lean more towards YA Fantasy, this was pitched as a gender-bent "Outsiders" retelling, so I raced to claim a copy with my points. I really liked the cover, I feel like there's not enough red book in YA right now. Ive had a few issues getting into the book,(doesnt help that I was in a reading slump.) But once it got going, it was an entertaining read. Some of the characters I had issues with(how they spoke, ect.) But I still was entertained. I do think that I I feel like new readers and fans will like this. Also, more a side note, but I really appreciate St. Martin's sending me a finished copy! It was pretty cool to see the book in its final form. Who knows? Maybe instead of school requiring student to read "The Outsiders" maybe "Bad Girls Never Say Die" will be taught next!
