I was excited to take a glance at the first look when I found out that it was a retelling of The Outsiders. The Outsiders was one of my favorite books that I read in school and a lot of lines were quoted and even became inside jokes for my friends and I. Stay Golden, Ponyboy!
Reading the first look, I got a little confused at the first line of the chapter, because at least on my phone there were no spaces between some of the words, so it made it a little harder to read right away. But besides that, I devoured the pages that were available. And I have so many questions that I want to know the answers to… what happened to the right-side-of-the-tracks girl to make the other rich girls treat her so badly? Why did so have a reaction when the last girl appeared? What is wrong with Johnny? Just so many questions! I can’t wait to read more and find out the answers.
I like the cover of the book. I think it fits the story well. I curious to find out if the girl on the cover is supposed to be one of the characters, and if so, who is she supposed to be?
