This griped me from the first few pages. The writting clearly displayed the flippant and indignant speaker with the chill 60s backdrop. I'm not typically a historical fiction type of gal, but the writing may convert me. I'm intrigued to see where the "Gender-Flipped Outsiders" goes and where it becomes its own unique read.
