Reminiscent of one of all time favorite books!

After reading the first 17 pages, I can honestly agree with the assessment that this is a retelling of The Outsiders with females. The opening we get a glimpse of 1964 Texas drive-in where a caste system is present. Who likes who, who did this and that and who will friends stick-up for. The feminist take is definitely intriguing.
