There’s a picture book called the Bad Seed, that I love reading with my daughter. Unfortunately, that’s what this book reminds me of.

The main character just seems to go out of her way to tell us how bad she is and, well, I don’t see it. Anyways, I don’t like the 1960s much as a period and I know it’s YA, but it just reads too “teenager” to hold my interest. I do love the cover though.
