The first thing that jumps out at me is the Title. My eyes lit up as I scanned the synopsis and came across the comparison to a gender flipped outsiders. I loved the outsiders and as an equal sex/race support I love the idea of a gang of tougher girls who really aren't as bad as they seem. Evie Barnes and her friends may run around with boys and laugh too loud but they take care of each other as only a true family can. Thinking the lines between cliques are sharply drawn, Evie is surprised when she is saved by a good girl from the "right" side of the tracks.

These are the stories youth need to read. The stories I need myself as well. I was similar to Evie and her friends when I was a young teen, a little less hardened but I clearly see myself in Evie which draws me in even more and makes me want to read it. I love a character that I relate to and can care about. From the first pages I've read I am quite confident that this book will be amazing and a true hit among every person outside of the "preppy kids"

I cannot wait to see how the story plays out!
