There’s something so familiar and comforting about the story, the characters, the youthful struggles. It’s like a cozy, warm blanket welcoming me back in. As a retelling of the classic The Outsiders, I have a feeling I will love the entirety of this novel with its enticing gender swap focusing on the struggles and emotional weight of strong female friendship! Something that I find sorely missing in a lot of YA Lit. I cannot wait to read more!!
