This story has so many appealing elements, I can't wait to see how it all comes together. So far I think the character of Evie has a strong voice, and you know exactly who she is (even if she doesn't seem to, yet). The setting of the Winkler is rich and believable, and the cast of characters offers a lot of promise. I am already wondering if anything is going to materialize of Evie's crush on Johnny, why Johnny is sad, and what fate awaits the reckless character, Connie. This feels like a real step back in time and should be a thrill to read.
