I've never read The Outsiders, so I wasn't sure what to expect in this gender bent version. I'm typically not drawn to realistic recent historical fiction stories, but I really loved the voice and atmosphere of Good Girls Never Say Die, and I would gladly read more! The cover is fitting of the 1964 setting while also being appealing for the modern viewer. I'm a fan!
