You don't need to write fiction in order to tell a gripping story as is evident in this short excerpt from Bad City. We get immediately immersed into a tragic and scandalous event that sets into motion an investigation that looks like it'll reach the top leadership at USC. It's clear there's a lot more to this story and we're just at the surface right now as Pringle starts digging deeper. I definitely want to find out what happens next.
