Great story involving not great behavior- to say the least. A fast paced, page-turner! The cover design with infamous smog hints at the sleazy actions of a man who uses his position of power to feed his sexual appetite.

College scandals involve some of the most egregious behavior, and this book uncovers one at U.S.C. All the tabloid-style excitement of a Southern California setting: references to $30,000 a month drug rehab facilities, a few Hollywood movie star names referenced, and a powerful man zooming around Malibu in his Porsche. Interestingly, this man is Dr. Puliafito, the Dean of the College of Medicine at U.S.C., a Los Angeles university known for promoting itself as superior. Now this married dean is in a hotel room with a camera on a tripod, aimed at a young, unclothed girl who is his mistress. And to make the story even more sordid, she is a drug addict in rehab, and Puliafito is supplying her these drugs without a prescription. (What would his wife with a degree in psychiatry think of his behavior?)
