I think a lot of people always place California on a pedestal for its shining lights and glimmering stars, but obviously a life of addiction and darkness came from all that buzzing noir. I'm dying to dive deeper into this thrilling non-fiction to learn more on what went wrong and how we as a society and a governing body failed a people who needed our help most.
