Captivating Non-Fiction Novel!!
One of my goals this year, was to read more non-fiction novels. When Bookishfirst posted the synopsis of "Bad City" by Paul Pringle several days ago, I was intrigued.
The first 48 pages of "Bad City" did not disappoint. It's no wonder that Mr. Pringle has won numerous awards, including several Pulitzer Prizes. His writing style has the ability to captivate his readers from his first word.
Even characters, such as Devon Khan (not a main character), are given Mr. Pringle's time and attention, which adds strength to this story.
If I had sufficient Bookishfirst points, I would have requested this novel!
I'm looking forward to reading this novel in its entirety.
