Three boys from an upscale academy made a bet and as a result are headed to camp in Yosemite in the winter. The trip seems doomed since in order to go they have to deceive their academy’s watchdog. But the deception goes well and off they go, three instead of four because Rhody backed out at the last minute. They hardly seem prepared for this trip since they don’t seem to have appropriate equipment. What they do have is a very heavy axe and a sense of humor about the whole trip. These tennis team chums should be staying at the academy, but instead they are headed out to the wilderness in a car that coughs and chokes and may or may not get them there. Nevertheless, they load up on cheap donuts from the local donut shack and off they go. The first view had humor, but didn’t tell a lot about the plot. However, there is a prologue that hints that there is some kind of death involved later. Read the whole thing? Maybe.
