The "nightmare camping trip" premise of this book sounded intriguing, but it wasn't for me and I put it down after around 50 pages. The characters were extremely annoying and the book was poorly written. It definitely felt like this was a rough draft, with devastating grammatical atrocities to the tune of, "so and so sat down together. With ana on the left, jenny on the right."
I had to dramatically slam the book down after page 53, where there were some (random parentheses) and I could not take it anymore. This is a young adult book that won't let you forget it is a young adult book. The dialogue is horrible and the plot elements seemed very contrived and trivial. Might make a better movie, sad to say!
