After reading the Bookish First sample, I expected that this book was going to be more of a "picked up a stranger along the way and now one of us is dead" adventure/thriller. I was wrong!
This plot centers around the rivalries and relationships of three private academy tennis players who take an ill-timed hike. Hormonal conflict ensues when Ceo, the brains behind this trip, invites soccer phenom Ellie to join the group.
I found the first half of the book to be a bit slow, but I absolutely devoured the final hundred pages. Once the action started, I literally had to keep reading until the end (even though it was 1AM.)
Because this plot centers around teen characters, is fairly clean in it's language, and contains no sexual content, I could easily recommend this title to either YA or adult readers.
