First of all I love that this book has a snowy setting. Some of my favorite books, going back as far as "The Shining" happen in the cold of winter. This book clearly sets the scene up early with the Prologue and I immediately find myself wondering why there are out in the woods and think they're lost, and what is t black stuff on the found jacket (I think we all know). The first chapter also has me believing this is told in alternating POVs which is another favorite of mine. I like the author's writing style and I was easily able to jump right into the tale and become riveted. It flows well and I love book which involve quite a bit of dialogue. Although I've not herd of "Bad Call" before I feel this will be going on the wishlist and will definitely be a book I seek out.
