It would’ve helped if I would’ve received this before the release date. I noticed most people did. Now, through no fault of my own, I won’t get the extra points for reviewing on release date.

I really enjoyed this book. I know a lot of reviews say it was too YA for them or didn’t get answers to a lot of their questions on why the characters did what they did or made certain choices. I’m not too much on YA and I really liked it. I knew it would be creepy so I was happy. Maybe since I still was able to sleep at night, it was just right for me but not enough for others? It was mainly written in Colin’s POV but also Ellie’s. I would really like to have a novella in Grahame’s. I did get annoyed at times with Decisions the characters made, mainly when it was bad, they still hiked up another mountain to get that experience in because they were that close and it may be the last chance they would ever go. But I also thought about how they are 17 and 18 and at that age, I didn’t always make the best decisions. I can see doing something like that. It’s like you’re invincible at that age. I don’t think a person that young really knows how life threatening the weather can be and how quickly it can happen, especially if you’re not used to snow or not from the mountains they were going to. As far as bickering a lot, I can see that with teens. The three guys were also very competitive in life because they played tennis together a lot. However, there is also a dark side to one of them. Not sure how he would be as an adult. Not very good, I would think. I would’ve hated to be in their situation even if they didn’t bicker at all. I think I read this during the perfect week because it’s been around 7 degrees at night here, it’s hardly ever that cold, and not for a week like this time either.
