Less Predictable Than I Thought, But Not Exciting
When I read the excerpt of this book, I kinda shrugged it off because I really didn't feel like this was a good book for me. I felt as thought I knew what was going to happen and it really wouldn't be all that exciting for me. This thought really stuck through for me throughout this book and I wasn't exactly thrilled. I will say that what I had expected to happen due to assumption and stereotypes did not happen, but I wasn't completely surprised at all.
As far as the characters go, these ones felt a bit meh. I didn't really connect with them and I didn't really want to continue knowing what happened to them after their adventure in the park. I guess, the whole thing with the reason that they went was kinda stupid to me (but a little cute I suppose too) and I couldn't help but think that there were other ways to do it.
Overall, I just wasn't feeling it with this novel unfortunately. It felt very usual and while I didn't predict all of it, I wasn't thrilled by it really at all. So it gets 2 out of 5 from me.
