This was a book filled with twists and turns. A group of friends goes on a camping trip and disaster seems to tag along. There's infighting, deceit, and betrayal happening in the group. Everything's made a bit more intense by the fact that they're battling nature in her most brutal elements, trying to survive. The author had the suspense and intrigue going from the very first page, and kept ratcheting up the intensity every few pages or so. This made for a very quick, very intense read and a fun way to spend an afternoon. Yellowstone National Park might be out to get you just as much as a friend...or frenemy. The ways that the backstories of the characters intermingle, collide and intersect make the story even more intense and keeps a healthy stream of suspense moving through the reader. Overall, this was a quick, fun, thriller of a read.
