This book is about a group of high school kids who take off on a weekend long camping trip into the mountains. Things go wrong from the very start and just never gets right. First one friend cancels and a girl no one really knows is invited in his place. She is initially a bit apprehensive to join this group of guys for an overnight camping and hiking trip, but decides to go against her instincts and go. The group gets lost and did not check in with the ranger station, so no one knows they are on the mountain. A massive snowstorm blows in that the group is not prepared for. To top it all off, apparently there are some unresolved anger issues within the group.
I liked how the story is told from the point of view of each individual camper. I enjoyed the switch in perspective and how each event affected them specifically. A good read for YA fans and anyone who likes a little intrigue. There were good twists and turns that kept me guessing. It was a nice, quick but very interesting read.
