I had a very good first impression of this book. The characters are interesting and already becoming fleshed out. The story gets off to a good start, at a good pace, and the beginning definitely does not drag. The author hints at the drama that is to come later, without giving too much away. The cover is eye-catching and I would pick up this book to find out more.
