Terrible blurb that flags up every reason why I would hate this book

If the blurb already mentions that the plot relies on a series of bad decisions, I can't imagine having any fun at all reading this. At least if this was an adult book, it might have had a macabre sense of humor, but as YA fiction, I can only imagine that this would be an irritating read. Really bad blurb writing. Did the author do this himself? It's not the same quality as the other previews here. Great cover, but the axe is a bit clumsy and mentioning it also in the blurb is super clumsy.
