I'd seen this book floating around online, so when I saw the chance to get a preview I though "Why not?" The prologue pulls you in right away and establishes that there will be a mystery. I didn't know quite what to think when the book itself began, the premise seems interesting if not a bit cliche, and while the main characters came off as a tad annoying they were also humourous and with quirks; the more I read, the more I warmed up to them. The writing was ok, the dialogue with the teacher was a bit convulted, but other than that it seemed like a solid start to a thrilling book,
