This is definitely promising. As a high school librarian, I find that boys really like novels like this (adventure, outside, etc) and there aren't enough of them! I can see this being a book I could book talk to the kids, especially the boys. Normal everyday talk/dialogue,nothing corny. Cover is eye catching and makes you wonder what the book is about (along with the prologue!)
