The prologue has quite an impact, and I wanted to know how they came to be there and what happened. The next bit of reading begins the lead up, and the interactions between the characters is interesting. I want more about their connections, feelings, etc. I feel that the story will explain more, but the portion that I read for this first impression pulled me into the story. The cover did not actually pull my attention to the story, it was the blurb that got my attention.
