While the excerpt is merely an introduction of the main characters, I am intrigued by the book's blurb! The characters are lighthearted, typical teenagers and I am interested to see how they handle the horrors they are supposedly about to face. I was initially drawn in by the cover art. While I typically skip over YA novels before even reading the blurb, I had to see what this one was about! Very excited to read the rest!
