As with most books, the cover is what first drew my attention. I like the simplicity to it as well as the darker vibe given through the bloody ax in the snow. I want to know more about the ax, especially if it's involved in the mysterious disappearance. As for the chapters...the prologue was twisty and dark. The perfect level of suspense was built up to grab your attention and wonder what exactly was going. I also liked the introduction to the teammates - they seem like an interesting group and I'm curious to see the dynamic that involves between them.
