The cover in red and white set the scene in my mind as winter with a criminal element most likely involving murder. The prologue set the scene leaving you expecting that the characters are going to encounter a harsh weather element that they were unprepared for and that at least one of them is going to go off the rails. The first few chapters introduce you to the characters and I quickly decided who I liked and who I wasn't supposed to like which will most likely be the case. I'm hooked and can't wait to see how this one plays out.
