It's very rare that I don't finish a book whose 'blurb' was intriguing enough to make it to my TBR list. That doesn't mean though that there aren't quite a few slow starts, however, this was not one of them. The prologue had me already wondering what had gone so horribly wrong on what at face value seemed like just some college students out to have an enjoyable weekend hiking trip. So yes, the first impression has me adding this to my TBR list regardless of whether or not I am one of the lucky ones who receive an ARC.
