This is a story told by Aunt Poldi through her nephew. I this this is the first translated work I read. Enjoyed this story, a charming murder mystery with some good characters. Loved the eccentric Autie Poldi, the Sicilian landscape & culture. However, at times the descriptions made the story feel longer & somewhat boring. The story can be slow & choppy but not too sure if thats the writing or translation. Funny & witty. its worth a read. this is good light read if you need something to spruce your reading. It did take me a while to read this one but this is not my normal genre. I did the like the antic of Aunt Poldi, loved that this was an older character and just doing what she wants. glad I read this.
