I recently try to get into genre or sub-genre that were different from what I usually read. This one is a good example of it. I find it surprising. I unfortunately can’t say I enjoy this one much, but I have to give it a fair rating anyway because it has some potential, I’m just not the right, or typical, reader for it. I offer good view of Sicily which I like and a fun, but very light, plot or intrigue. It’s one of those book that I affectingly call aunty mystery/thriller. Very light, soft, nothing to horrific happening, just a fun beach read. I like my thriller or mystery to be a bit darker so that is why I didn’t totally get into it, but at the same time I know what I was going into and it never pretend to be otherwise. So if you’re looking for a beach read for this summer and that you like this genre, I think this one worth having a fair chance. Enjoy!
