This book was a bit slow going for me in the beginning, but toward the middle I found myself really wrapped up in the story. It was fun, there was a lot going on, and it was definitely not what I expected!
It's compared to A Man Called Ove, and I guess I was expecting it to be a bit more laid back, kind of like that book was, but it wasn't - there was a lot of action toward the middle of the book like I mentioned.
All in all, I really liked all the characters in this book. I thought they were written fairly well and fleshed out to the point where I felt I really got to know them. There were a lot of silly moments that made me laugh out loud, and some moments were quite suspenseful as well.
