Auntie Poldi's sense of humor is great and I enjoyed her view on life. I did laugh out loud more than once with here funny references to her wanting to drink, or having had too much! One thing that was unique and I appreciate in this book was the summaries of each chapter at the top of the page. It was a fun way to summarize the book and super creative. This book is a translation and at times a bit choppy but I did appreciate the descriptions of life in Italy and the humor of the book. While I liked this book but it was a bit of a challenge for me at times to follow the different people talking. Poldi is telling the story to her nephew and he interrupts to ask questions at times and I had to re-read more than once. Overall a fun read and I am glad I was able to read a fun story from a well known Italian author.
